Chelsea and Manchester United are both interested in signing Inter Milan defender Denzel Dumfries, according to Fabrizio Romano.
The Netherlands international has been a superb performer for club and country over the past year and he has been excellent at the World Cup.
The 26-year-old recently bagged one goal and two assists as the Netherlands beat the United States of America in the round of 16 stage.
It is now reported that Dumfries is attracting plenty of transfer interest from England. Chelsea and United are among his main admirers.
However, the Dutchman won’t come for cheap. Inter have no plans of sanctioning his sale next year unless they receive €60 million.
Dumfries was signed for just €14m from PSV last year. The Nerazzurri are open to cashing in on him for a significant profit in 2023.
United boss Erik ten Hag is a strong admirer of Dumfries, but it is unclear whether the club are prepared to meet the high price tag.
