Easter was celebrated in Christian countries across the world this weekend and football added much to the festivities with some ripsnorting matches and wonderful moments of skill.

Liverpool and Arsenal’s 2-2 draw was arguably the best match of the Premier League season to date, while both Manchester City and Manchester United secured crucial victories.

It was also a landmark weekend for Son Heung-min and there was plenty of entertaining moments from the lower leagues and across Europe too.
