An impressive 10 goals in 14 games by Nigerian forward Terem Moffi continues to see the player’s stock rise in Ligue 1, and now a further two Premier League sides have been in contact with Rennes regarding a January transfer move. Last summer, Everton, Crystal Palace and Bournemouth were all linked with a move for the 25-year-old, but a transfer deal could not be agreed.
Moffi’s rich form this season has now caught the eye of Tottenham and Newcastle, both sides having deployed scouts to catch the Calabar-born striker in action.
Since his arrival at Lorient from Kortrijk, Moffi has scored 32 goals and has made his first international appearance, scoring 3 goals for his country in 9 games. Lorient had tied the forward down to a long term deal, but could be open to a transfer should a 35 million euro valuation be matched.
The Premier League continues to remain the player’s likely destination, as first exclusively revealed by Eyefootball.com last season, with a Premier League quartet amongst the sides monitoring the striker’s progress.
