Crystal Palace attacker Wilfried Zaha will not be leaving Selhurst Park during the January transfer window, despite reports linking the Ivory Coast international with a potential move to either Newcastle United, Bayern Munich or Arsenal. Zaha has been loyal to the Eagles when linked with a move away in previous years, but now looks set to run down the duration of his contract before a free transfer elsewhere.
The 30-year-old has informed manager Patrick Vieira that he is “fully committed to the Crystal Palace cause” until the summer, and from then on will likely leave the club in search of a new opportunity elsewhere as his contract expires.
Chelsea were also amongst the teams preparing a bid for the player in January, but opted to sign Joao Felix on loan instead. Meanwhile Arsenal have been linked with a move for either Eden Hazard of Mykhaylo Mudryk, with uncertainty over the position of both deals.
Arsenal are chasing their first Premier League title in 19 years, and Zaha is known to be a huge Gunners fan. However, he will not be joining the Gunners during January, neither is a move to Bayern or Newcastle likely.
